Good breakfast, good products, friendly service, the indoor area needs to be cleaned thoroughly, and it was very cold in the restaurant.
You can sit outside wonderfully.
Wild
Very nicely located and a very good kitchen.
Food ok. It's good to sit outside in the Volkspark. Inside would have to be properly dusted and cobwebs removed. The interior furniture has seen better days.
The location is great, in the middle of the Volkspark. You can sit outside just fine. Also ideal for families, as the children can play on the inline skating track or with a ball etc. on the meadow. The food is okay, nothing special and not cheap. We had a burger (which was fine) and a Spundekäs which we skipped because it had been standing for a long time. But was exchanged without hesitation.
Very decent eatery. Food tasted good. Sausage salad as it should be!
I'm a model and I value good taste. Mainz is not Paris but I've been to Vino for breakfast several times with my boyfriend and every time I leave the café not only full but also with pleasant feelings. Honestly, it's not just my friend;) The ambience and handling of the good breakfast are just bonne tres! ?
Great location! Nice service also very friendly. Good food, pleasant atmosphere
The drinks were there very quickly. Unfortunately, half of the pretzels with the Spund cheese were broken.
We are jewelers and have now been here for the third time. I think the level, the cleanliness and the quality of the food are high.
Actually a great location with a great outdoor area; that has potential! But on our last visit I was a little confused how the "boss" communicates with his employees. Maybe it is so common with him when I read the owner's comments here. For me it is not relaxing as a guest to watch a tone like this there.
Absolute dirt load. Food no longer available 1.5h before closing time. 2 small children who had to urgently were not allowed to use the toilet because we are not guests ... we would have liked to have been if we had something.
Super nice, very nice boss and thank you Michaela ???
NIIIIIIE MORE The operation is not really German. It was difficult to talk to her about the menu, which I think is a shame. I ordered a tarte flambée and after half an hour I was told that they didn't have it at the moment. It was enough for me and I left.
Very nice restaurant at the Volkspark. The staff is very friendly and quick, the food is very good and the homemade soda can only be recommended! ?? I had mango mint ... Legger!
Friendly restaurant in a great atmosphere of the Volkspark. Good food for the small and big hunger.
Bad service. No mandatory corona note to leave number. Disinfectant errors. Menu cards were also not cleaned. Ice cream cups for children were missing half. Multiple inquiries would not be taken seriously. Violent that the service against the last tenant could get worse. But everything is done so that you won't come back. Unfortunately you cannot give minus 5 stars‼ ️
I really liked my visit at Café Vivo. The food was yummy and the staff very understanding and nice. It's a little pricey, so only 4 stars.
Where to start The bench on which I sat on the terrace was sticky, the table was not wiped. The service was friendly but understaffed, so stressful. Food was i. O. Corona regulations are handled rather laxly: mask only over the mouth at the service, when we wrote down our contact details, the notes of other guests were still there. In the entrance area, contact data slips lay openly visible. Too many construction sites. We are waiting for a new opening.
Food was good, but service during a pandemie was a disaster. Waitress had her mask only in the mouth, got too close to us and they did mot collect customer names for documentation.
Unfortunately, the previous speakers have to agree. Hygiene can be optimized. We were there at lunchtime for coffee, the table we were assigned was unfortunately not very clean. Because the shop was relatively empty, this cannot be attributed to stress. The menus were difficult to open because they were glued inside. The cake selection was ok, but strangely, exactly what I wanted (from the regular menu) was not available. But there was exactly that with other allowances more expensive on the special card. The cake for everyone came rather late and the drinks in installments. Somewhat bad in a larger group. The quality of the food unfortunately does not correspond to the listed prices. Conclusion: Location at the Volkspark also good for parking. However, this is no reason to go there again.
The Volkspark is one of the leisure magnets of the state capital. The Cafe Vivo provides the appropriate culinary background. Light cuisine served by very nice and attentive staff. Highly recommended are the tarte flambée. My favorites are goat cheese or bolognese.
